How to Add Clocks to Your League Page

In this tutorial we will be learning how to add different time zone clocks to you League page. I have done the html coding for you. So watch out for the links during this tutorial.

1. Where to Get Your Clocks From

Click Here to go to Clock Link.com and once on the website click on Analog which is found on left side of the page.




2. Choosing Your Clock

Now choose the clock you want to have and click on View HTML Tag underneath the clock you have chosen. This will open a new page.




3. Clocklink Terms and Conditions

Except Agreement

Now click on Accept and this will open a new page up.




4. Different Time Zones

Now select the time zone you want to have.

The time zones across America are as follows:

EST - Eastern Time (Tourney Time),

CST - Central Time,

MST - Mountain Time

and

PST - Pacific Time.




5. HTML Table Code For Your Clocks

To save you some time I have done the html coding for you. Just click on what sort of table you want. Click Here For The Html Code Without Borders or Click Here For The Html Code With Borders.




6. Highlight HTML Coding

In this tutorial I am using the code with borders so highlight the code but it is basically the same for both sorts of HTML coding.




7. Copy The HTML Coding

Now right click on your Mouse and click on Copy.




8. Paste The HTML Coding

Now open up Notepad or WordPad on your PC. Now right click on your mouse and then click on paste.




9. Saving The HTML Coding to Your PC

Save As

Now save it to your PC by doing a right click on your mouse and clicking on Save As.




10. Placing Your Borders and Font Color to The HTML Coding

Your Colors

Now this is how you edit the coding. Click on the following word ‐‐‐‐‐> Color Chart as I have got a color chart on this website with all the codes for each color. Now highlight #Color Code Goes Here and paste your colour code in its place. Please make sure you do all of them. There should be 4 of them one for each clock. If using the coding without borders then you have only got your font colour to do. Do this for all your clocks.

Now highlight Clock Html Code Goes Here.




12. Getting Your Clock Code

Now go back to the Clocklink website. It´s the 2nd HTML coding that you will need. Now highlight the HTML Coding and do a right click on your mouse and copy it. Now back to the Clocks HTML code that I gave you. Now right click on your mouse and then click on Paste. Now repeat Steps 15 and 16 for the rest of the clocks.




13. Editing Clock Size If You Need Too.

Width and Height

Now if using the clocks on Front Page Top Right or Front Page Bottom Right you will need to change some of the coding but it is easy to do. Now in the coding look for Width and Height and just change the numbers after Width and Height. The Width and Height for Front Page Top Right or Front Page Bottom Right is 100 and for Front Page Top the size is 200.




14. Login to Your Admin Center

Now login to your Admin Center.




15. Edit Modules

League Settings

Now look for Edit Modules and click on it.




16. Front Page Top

Now look for Front Page Top and click on it. Please remember this is only an example and you can put your clock on either Front Page Top Right or Front Page Bottom Right.




17. Toggle HTML Source

Now make sure your editor is active by click on where page preview is and now click on Toggle Html Source.




18. Placing Your Clocks Onto Your League Page - Part 1

Placing Your Clocks

Now look for this line <!-BEGIN SHOUTBOX --> in the HTML Coding. Now move this down by one line by clicking on the page by < and hitting the Enter key on your keyboard. Now put you cursor where the blank line is. Now highlight the HTML Coding on your Notepad or WordPad. Now do a right click on your mouse and then click on Copy.




19. Placing Your Clocks Onto Your League Page - Part 2

Now right click on your mouse and then click on paste.




20. Toggle HTML Source

Now click on Toggle HTML Source.

This is what it should look like on the page. If you used the HTML Clocks Without Borders you will just see the clocks in place.




22. Save Your Changes

Now click on Save.
